S.C. Geodetic Survey to clarify boundaries between Lexington, Saluda counties

WHAT:    A public meeting to discuss efforts to clarify the common boundary between Lexington and Saluda counties

The S.C. Geodetic Survey (SCGS), in conjunction with local government officials, will be hosting a public meeting to discuss efforts to Lex Saluda Boundary Product Imageclarify the common boundary between Lexington and Saluda counties. The public is invited to attend to discuss how these efforts may affect the community.  The SCGS is committed to determining accurately the location of the boundary as defined in South Carolina law, marking the boundary with the necessary monuments, and referencing those markers to geographic coordinates to better preserve the integrity and accuracy of the boundary.
